Terms of Service

Cyberones is operated by iSoft

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the Cyberones Security Awareness Portal operated by iSoft (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: 19 August 2026. This is a launch-ready template; have counsel review it before relying on it in a dispute.

1. The service

Cyberones provides security-awareness training: quizzes, learning paths, certificates, newsletters, and related tools for individuals, families, education, government, and organisations. Features depend on your plan and tenant configuration.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
  • Corporate accounts are for the organisation that registered. Administrators are responsible for users they invite.
  • Family accounts are created by an adult who is responsible for family members added to the household, including minors.
  • Children must not self-register. Adults enrol family members or learners.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the service to attack, phish, or harm real people or systems (training simulations are for authorised learners only).
  • Share login credentials, scrape content at scale, or reverse-engineer the platform except as allowed by law.
  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material.
  • Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or payment controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and Paystack

  • Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page (annual or monthly where offered).
  • Payments are processed by Paystack. Their terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment step.
  • Some corporate plans are priced on request; contacting us does not create a contract until both parties agree.
  • Free trials (where offered) end on the stated date. Access may stop unless you upgrade.
  • Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by Nigerian consumer law or where we cannot deliver the service.

5. Training content and certificates

Quizzes and scenarios are educational. Passing a quiz or earning a certificate does not guarantee that an organisation or person is “secure” or compliant with any particular standard. Certificates may be verified via the public verification page when we enable that feature for an award.

6. Intellectual property

iSoft and its licensors own Cyberones, including quizzes, branding, and software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service during an active subscription. You retain ownership of content you submit (for example organisation names), and you grant us a licence to use it to operate the service.

7. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, iSoft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for Cyberones in the three months before the claim, or ₦50,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including fraud).

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the service. Continued use after notice (including posting on this page) constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service and request account closure by emailing cyberone@isoft-ng.com. We may terminate for non-payment or breach.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
